Fifteen years after 19-year-olds Jimmy Liang and Peter Tse opened their first restaurant in Quincy, the JP Fuji Group opens their 9th location - Shabu & Mein, a full service restaurant that is the first of it’s kind. The main dining room allows guests the opportunity to sit down with friends and family to enjoy authentic Japanese hot pot, a leisurely style of cooking where patrons cook their own meal at their table. Using only the freshest ingredients, Shabu & Mein’s menu offers an extensive selection of meats, seafood, and vegetables that can all be enjoyed in any of our monosodium glutamate (MSG) free soup bases.
Upon leaving the main dining room, guests are welcome to relax at the full service bar while watching their favorite sport on any of the 3 flat screen televisions, or sit at our high-top tables that look out through cathedral-ceiling windows into a beautiful courtyard. Here, patrons can enjoy unique ramen noodle dishes inspired by the team’s combined 30 years of culinary experience. These innovative selections coupled with the hot pot option is what makes Shabu & Mein the destination spot for surrounding office workers, families, and friends to gather and enjoy a truly memorable experience.
